This poster explores the structure, precision, and modernist legacy of the Univers typeface. Created individually for a typography course, I researched, conceptualized, and designed the layout using Adobe InDesign, employing a strong grid system, typographic hierarchy, and bold use of color to create movement and emphasis. The elongated “I” in Univers serves as a vertical axis, guiding the eye through the composition, while tilted text blocks and a red, white, and blue palette evoke Swiss modernist aesthetics. This project taught me how subtle adjustments in scale, alignment, and color can dramatically impact readability, visual energy, and overall design tone, resulting in a piece that is both educational and visually striking.
